Track team Returns home after Nationals

The Doane Track team returned home after competing at the National meet in Geneva, OH.

Congratulation to Bj Lawrence for winning the 60m and 200m races.

The Men finished 6th overall and the women's finished in the top 15. The Tigers had twelve individuals receive All-American awards along with two relays claiming All-American

Doane Baseball 9-game Win streak

The Doane Baseball team improved to 11-4 on the season as it swept the Graceland University Yellow Jackets in the home opening series.

Sophomore Tim Carlson threw a one-hit gem Saturday afternoon as the Tigers beat the Yellow Jackets 10-0 in seven innings.

Senior Anthony Hincy, and Freshman Chris Manning had three hits each as Hincy and Sophomore Ethan Schroeder and 3 rbi's. Check out the doane website for complete stats on saturday's game.

Sunday consisted of two nine innings games, both decided by the Tigers. Chance Brull got the victory on the mound with Doane winning 11-6. Sophomore Elliot Engle closed out the series with a complete game, 10-strikeout appearance. The final score of that game was 12-2.

Five players for Doane had multiple hits including a home run by Sophomore Thomas Albert. The second game Seniors Mike Albert and Anthony Dunn combined for six hits and five rbi's.
